When I first contacted the Penzien Steele staff about making funeral arrangements for my sister, I was admittedly overwhelmed by the list of tasks that had to be performed. But my worry turned out to be needless because Mr. Jason Gilles skillfully and compassionately guided us through the process every step of the way. Within the first hour of working with Jason, I realized that all would be well, and that was the feeling that persisted as he guided us through the funeral service and internment arrangements. At the conclusion of the funeral services, many family members sought me out to say what a nice job Jason and the rest of the Penzien staff had done to make it such a nice send-off for our sister. Jason went above and beyond helping my sisters and I with my fathers passing as we live out of state. He immediately contacted us and made us feel comfortable and at ease with the entire process. He was always available with email, text or phone to answer every question we had! My father passed during covid so it wasn’t easy planning a gathering, but Jason help to make it happen. My sisters and I are so thankful for all of his help while we were out of state and in Michigan! We highly recommend their services! Thank you again Jason!

Very professional staff. Jason was very compassionate, understanding and attentive with our ongoing changes. Funeral planning with a large family during this COVID pandemic was challenging.
